Meet Your Therapist

Dr. Stephanie Daniel, PT, DPT

Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of South Carolina. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Armstrong State University - Georgia Southern University, which merged and became GSU.

She began her career at a skilled nursing facility in the upstate and then transitioned into home health therapy. Stephanie also has clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics, worker’s compensation, acute care, and inpatient pediatrics. After witnessing her sister’s experience with pregnancy and postpartum and working with countless people experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction and receiving no help, Stephanie sought continued education and certification in pelvic health. Stephanie received her post doctorate training in pelvic health through Herman & Wallace. She has implemented pelvic health into her prior home health job, where she continues to work PRN to reach the needs of those with less access to care. She has been both a patient and a provider and through these experiences has developed a passion for individualized and holistic care.

In 2023, she founded Fortis in an effort to fill the need for mobile holistic care in the Upstate. She understands the challenges of getting to appointments in various locations all over town, and wanted to create an easily accessible space for healing and strength where people are most comfortable: home.

When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her dog, family, and friends. She loves exploring Greenville, being involved in her church, experiencing all that the upstate has to offer, and watching gamecock football. She enjoys being in nature and can often be found walking around downtown, hiking, or kayaking.
